It supports drives with a capacity of up to 8TB and allows transfer rates of up to 2,900 MB/s. The case is 100% compatible with Mac computers equipped with M1 and M2 series processors. The case is backwards compatible with USB-C 3.x ports

The case is 100% compatible with Apple Mac computers , iPads equipped with a USB-C port, phones and tablets with a USB-C port , and Windows computers equipped with a Thunderbolt™ or USB-C port.

The speeds of writing and reading data obtained with the Addlink S95 2TB drive connected via a housing to the Apple Mac mini M1 computer are 2735MB/s (writing) and 2779 MB/s reading.

Great versatility

Despite its small size, the housing allows transfer rates of up to 40Gb/s. With Apple computers - including the latest MacBook Pro 14" and 16" Mac Studio and Mac mini models equipped with M1 and M2 series processors, you can achieve transfers of 2,790MB/s (writing) and 2,935MB/s reading*

*The transfer depends on the NVMe drive used and the connected computer.

Built-in fan

The Abart Pro Sonic Pro housing has a built-in fan that can be controlled manually or automatically.

If, during intensive work, the installed disk reaches a temperature that causes it to slow down, the fan in the housing automatically turns on to help dissipate excess heat.

The fan can also be turned on and off manually using the built-in switch. The mesh covering the fan perfectly dissipates heat, preventing unwanted items from entering the fan blades.

Look forward

The Abart Pro Sonic Pro housing allows you to install a drive with a capacity of up to 16TB. It doesn't matter what disk you install now. The housing is designed for the largest capacities currently available. And thanks to the use of the latest electronics, the housing will support higher, currently unavailable NVMe drive capacities.
