The ARC-8050T3U series of Thunderbolt™ USB-C RAID SAS 12 Gbps external enclosures feature two Thunderbolt™ 3 (USB-C) ports for connecting to any Thunderbolt™ 3-capable host, and offers an additional Thunderbolt™ 3 port for daisy-chaining other peripherals while providing power for fast notebook charging. The ARC-8050T3U enclosures also feature a full-size DisplayPort 1.4 video output for quick and easy display setup up to 8K.
If the ARC-8050T3UARC-8050T3U external Thunderbolt™ USB-C RAID SAS 12 Gbps enclosures are connected to a computer's USB-C port, the USB device controller inside the ARC-8050T3U-enabled system is activated and the internal USB device controller routes USB signals (2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1 or USB 3.2 Gen 2) to the USB-C port. In this state, the ARC-8050T3U Thunderbolt 3 chassis port behaves exactly like a typical USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connector.
