In recent years, content creation and production has rapidly moved from HD to 4K and beyond, making 10Gb Ethernet the new data transfer standard for post-production workgroups, storage and other bandwidth-intensive work.

Very affordable 10Gb/s Ethernet switches in the RJ45 standard have significantly reduced the cost of 10GbE infrastructure setup. Even the new iMac Pro™ includes 10Gb Ethernet as a standard network interface.

Now, for computers with a Thunderbolt™ 3 port, there's an equally affordable Thunderbolt 3 to 10Gb Ethernet adapter – the Sonnet Solo 10G™ Thunderbolt 3 Edition Adapter. It's an incredibly simple solution for adding blazing-fast 10GBASE-T 10GbE network connectivity to any Mac® computer or a Windows® 1o computer with Thunderbolt 3 ports.
