This solution significantly reduces the decline in disk performance caused by overheating.

The drive connected via the Sonnet Echo Dual NVMe Thunderbolt Dock is compatible with the macOS boot option. Thanks to this, you can create a startup disk from one disk and use the other one, e.g. for a Time Machine backup.

With a Thunderbolt peripheral port, the Echo Dual NVMe Thunderbolt Dock supports Apple Pro Display XDR®, 5K @ 60Hz, 4K @ 75Hz, 1440p @ 165Hz, or 1080p @ 240Hz, supported by your computer. A Thunderbolt or USB-C display can be connected directly or at the end of a chain of Thunderbolt devices. To use an HDMI or DisplayPort display, connect an active adapter (sold separately).
