Connect Thunderbolt devices, monitors, USB peripherals, powered speakers and an Ethernet cable to the docking station, then connect it all to your computer with a single Thunderbolt cable. Do you have a laptop? You can keep its power supply in your bag, because the Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock will power it with up to 100W of charging power. When it's time to leave, just unplug the Thunderbolt cable, grab your computer and leave.

Internal SSD expansion slot - add up to 8TB of NVMe SSD storage

The built-in M.2 NVMe SSD slot allows you to add up to 8TB of SSD storage (SSD sold separately) to your system without connecting the storage device to an Echo dock or computer.

Installing the SSD is a breeze - simply remove the two screws securing the bottom panel cover, insert the SSD, then reinstall and secure the bottom cover. Transfer and access data at up to 800 MB/s and easily store large files, media libraries or Time Machine® backups.

The Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock features a built-in HDMI port, allowing you to connect an HDMI display directly to the dock.

Faster Ethernet transfers over existing cabling - 250% Gigabit Ethernet speeds

Equipped with 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, the Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock supports link speeds of 2.5 Gb/s over regular Cat 5e (or better) cabling when used with a compatible Ethernet switch or NAS with 2.5 Gb Ethernet support, saving the cost of another adapter. You can get a huge performance boost - 250 percent Gigabit Ethernet speeds - without having to change cabling! Need to connect to a switch without 2.5Gb Ethernet support? The Sonnet docking station also supports 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps link speeds.

Dual Thunderbolt ports - simple, all-in-one connectivity for work and play

The Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock has three Thunderbolt 4 ports: one for connecting/powering a computer - ideal for Mac and Windows laptops with only one or two Thunderbolt ports, as they can be connected and charged on the same port - and two for directly connecting Thunderbolt peripherals.

The Thunderbolt ports also support USB4 and USB 3 peripherals, and even provide 15 watts of power each to support the most demanding Thunderbolt and USB bus-powered peripherals. If your computer supports it, you can even connect another monitor.

Powerful USB-A and USB-C 10 Gbps ports

The Echo 20 SuperDock is equipped with four USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) Type-A and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports - two each on the front and back - to support super-fast USB NVMe SSDs at full speed. Unlike some other docking stations, the Echo 20 doesn't skimp on power either - each port provides up to 7.5 watts to ensure that drives with higher peak power requirements can be mounted and operate without fail. As an added benefit, the USB-C ports support the Type-C charging specification, allowing the docking station to charge devices even when the computer is turned off, asleep or unplugged.

Display options - Thunderbolt port connectors: Connect up to one 8K monitor or two 6K monitors

Depending on your computer's video capabilities and whether the monitor is connected to the built-in HDMI port, the Echo dock's Thunderbolt ports can support one (always 4K, 5K or 6K, up to 8K) monitor or up to two 6K monitors. You can connect Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C monitors directly, or connect other types of displays (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.) with a Thunderbolt-compatible adapter (sold separately).

Charging a notebook without a power adapter - 100 W of charging power (Power Delivery)

When connected to your laptop via the included Thunderbolt 4 cable, the Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock provides up to 100 watts of power (Power Delivery), meaning it can power and charge your computer when plugged in, even when not in use, allowing you to leave your computer's power supply packed.

Dedicated RCA audio outputs

The Echo 20 Thunderbolt 4 SuperDock is equipped with stereo RCA connectors. The RCA outputs provide consistent line-level sound, connecting your sweet music library to a pair of powered speakers. The RCA outputs are also ideal for direct connection to an amplifier, power amplifier or mixer.

Card reader- high-speed SD 4.0 UHS-II card reader

The included SD card slot is compatible with SD™, SDHC™ and SDXC™ memory cards and supports a read speed of 320 MB/s with SDXC UHS-II cards for fast loading of photos and videos. MicroSD cards are also supported when used with adapters commonly included with the cards.

Security - Thunderbolt 4 cable and ThunderLok 4 included. Kensington lock ready.

Thunderbolt 4 and ThunderLok 4 cable - Sonnet includes a Thunderbolt cable and security clip for the Echo 20 SuperDock. The Thunderbolt cable supports full 40 Gbps throughput and 100W charging capability. The ThunderLok™ 4 Thunderbolt connector security clip prevents accidental cable disconnection by easily sliding over one end of the cable and attaching directly to the dock with a thumb screw. Because of its unique design, ThunderLok stays on the cable, so it won't get lost when not in use.

Kensington Lock Ready - lock your docking station and keep it secure. Since the Echo docking station can hold up to 8TB of valuable data, it's a good idea to secure it with a Kensington® Lock (sold separately).
