The LMP SuperDock 2 is an all-in-one USB4 solution boasting 15 ports for seamless data transfer, high-res video and audio connectivity, and fast and reliable network access over a single USB4 cable. Thanks to its Intel chipset JHL8140, it is fully compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4. Featuring a 130 W power adapter, the SuperDock 2 supplies up to 100W (Power Delivery 3.0) to any laptop which can charge through USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 or 4 such as MacBook Pro/Air. A total of 8 USB ports – 4 on the front and 4 on the rear side – secure the connection of just about any USB peripheral to the host computer. The speeds range from fast 10 Gbps to 5 Gpbs and down to USB 2.0 (480 Mbps) for low-speed peripherals such as keyboard and mouse. The USB-A and USB-C ports also provide power of up to 7.5W (BC1.2 1.5A) for charging an iPhone or other USB-C devices.
The SuperDock 2 features 2 HDMI, a DisplayPort as well as a USB-C port with DP Altmode capability. The DisplayPort (DP 1.4) and the USB-C DP Altmode video ports can reach up to 8K@30 Hz or 5K@120 Hz resolutions while the HDMI (HDMI 2.0) are capable of 5K@60 Hz. Dual monitors in Extended Mode are supported with a choice between Video 1 (HDMI #1), Video 2 (HDMI #2 or DP) and Video 3 (USB-C DP Altmode). The video signal is transmitted through DP Altmode protocol so check the host's video support for external monitors (limitations may apply in the number of external monitors through DP Altmode).
A 2.5 Gbps network port (RJ45) with the latest chipset from Realtek (RTL8156B) brings fast and reliable network connection. It's simple plug'n'play with auto-detection of network bandwidth as well as Wake-On-LAN support.
On the front side, a SD card slot (SD 4.0 UHS-II) and a Audio In/Out (3.5 mm jack) are easily accessible. A Kensington Security Slot secure the SuperDock 2 and the on/off button on the rear side help save energy when not in use. A 0.8 m USB4 cable is supplied so the SuperDock 2 can be positioned in a good distance to the workspace. Crafted from high-quality aluminum with an anodized surface finish, the SuperDock 2 can be positioned horizontally or vertically, adding functionality and elegance to any setup.
