The newly released Netstor NS780TB3 enclosure is designed to support the same fastest data port with the same transfer speed as Mac Studio, Thunderbolt™ 4.
Netstor NS780TB3 is a 16-bay enclosure that allows you to connect up to 320TB of fast mass storage to a computer equipped with a Thunderbolt port. Netstor Desktop NS780TB3 is designed to maintain the highest, full performance of up to 2940 MB per second, which is twice the bandwidth of Thunderbolt™ 2 and eight times the performance of the USB 3 port.
Thanks to a free PCIe card slot, the Netstor NS780TB3 housing can be equipped with a fast hardware RAID controller. Housing compatible with Apple Mac computers - including computers based on Apple Silicon processors (i.e. M1 and M2 series) and Windows computers equipped with a Thunderbolt port.
The Netstor NS780TB3 desktop enclosure, which allows you to install up to sixteen (16) 3.5-inch SAS or SATA hard drives of any capacity, is capable of expanding Apple Mac Studio data storage up to 320TB. Video editors and digital content creators can also use the multiple Thunderbolt™ 4 ports in Mac Studio to connect to multiple NS780TB3 storage units, so external data storage starts at sixteen (16) bays per unit multiplied by the number of connected units in if the demand for data increases.
Netstor understands that video editors are generally sensitive to noise in their work environment. Accordingly, the DAS case is equipped with two large 12 x 12 cm cooling fans placed on both the front and rear panel respectively - a total of four large cooling fans on the device. Combined with the best case ventilation frame, the warm air generated by hard drives during operation can be smoothly exhausted from the case at the lowest fan speed setting. This allows digital content creators to fully devote themselves to their video production processes without being interrupted by unnecessary noise while working on creating digital content.
