The drive is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB4 40 Gb/s interfaces. For ports older than Thunderbolt 5, the drive achieves a maximum data transfer rate of up to 3,000 MB/s.
The drive is compatible with Apple Mac computers with Intel and Silicon M1, M2, M3, and M4 series processors, as well as PCs with Thunderbolt or USB4 connectors. The drive is equipped with active cooling – a PVM fan – which activates when the drive reaches a high temperature or can be controlled manually using a switch. Thanks to this solution, the drive works smoothly under heavy loads without losing transfer speed.
