Unitex LTO is the only system in the world that allows anyone to easily and securely use LTO tape archiving via a USB port, i.e., the optimal medium for long-term storage of large amounts of data used in production, post-production, local government units, data centers, medical units, and companies that process large amounts of data.

Install Unitex LTO drives in a rack cabinet
A maximum of two Unitex LTO drives can be installed in a dedicated 2U LTO rack mounting kit. Compatible rack-mountable drives include USB, SAS, and hybrid USB/SAS models. This solution allows you to simultaneously create primary and secondary LTO tapes using two LTO drives of the same generation, or to migrate from older LTO tapes to the latest generation tapes using two Unitex LTO drives of different generations.
